Dauda saves Anderlecht against Westerlo (video)

GAMES Anderlecht played a draw against Westerlo. It became 2-2. The Purple & White were 2-0 behind, but with a man less (red card Delcroix), Mohammed Dauda still scored two goals for a draw.


Westerlo took the lead when Naessens took advantage of a mistake from goalkeeper Boeckx. Abazaj was close to a goal, but Van Langendonck saved it. The cross came from Saelemaekers.

In addition to Anderlecht and Westerlo, the video referee was also present to prepare for the new season. Shortly before the hour he intervened after a fault of Santini in his own penalty area. It gave Westerlo a penalty. Dauda mildered almost immediately after he came in to 2-1. Shortly afterwards Delcroix was allowed to take a shower when he was the last man to pull the emergency brake. In the extra time, Dauda scored his second of the evening.
