Anderlecht inquires with Taravel for 1B

TRANSFERS Now that Guillaume Gillet has put away his soccer boots, Anderlecht must look for another experienced player to guide the U23 in 1B. According to La Dernière Heure, Anderlecht has started talks with Jérémy Taravel to fill in this vacancy.


The 35-year-old Frenchman is without a club after the bankruptcy of Mouscron. Last season he played 22 games for Les Hurlus in 1B. Before that, the central defender played for Zulte Waregem, Lokeren, Dinamo Zagreb, AA Gent, Sion and Cercle Brugge.
