Mykhailichenko possibly back to Ukraine

TRANSFERS Bogdan Mykhailichenko was not in the selection for the game against Ostend last weekend. Due to the competition from Gomez, Amuzu and Sadiki (and the new playing system), the Ukrainian doesn't seem to be able to count on too many chances. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, there is interest from top club Shakhtar Donetsk.


Despite all the misery because of the war with Russia, the league in Ukraine still starts on 23 August. Donetsk would rent Mykhailichenko with an option to buy. Mykhailichenko was brought to Anderlecht two seasons ago and in his first match against St-Truiden, he scored his only goal for the club. He still has a contract with Anderlecht until 2024.
