INTERVIEWS Noah Sadiki converted his penalty kick yesterday. For the still only 17-year-old youngster, it seemed like business as usual. He was also his cool self afterwards in front of the Sporza microphone. "Now I'm just going to sleep. Tomorrow I'll look at that penalty again", he said yesterday.

"My heart rate has already dropped a bit," laughed Sadiki. "It could have gone either way, but I'm glad it went our way. I won't say we were lucky, because we worked hard for these moments. For that we have been rewarded now. Young Boys is a strong team with a lot of individual talent. Many good players and strong in the duels."

"The coach asked who wanted to kick and I raised my hand. I do have the necessary self-confidence and train on it a lot out of myself. After all, you never know if there will be important moments. I wouldn't say I'm a specialist, but self-confidence I do have. What I was thinking about on the way to the dot? I wanted to give everyone here in the stadium a lot of pleasure and kick it in."

This victory is one of youth. Purple and White played with a lot of young guys. "It's nice that there are a lot of guys from Neerpede on the field. We grew up together. It's nice to then play together at such a high level. You work for those big moments. Next year maybe another step up."
