GAMES - 1B After two defeats, RSCA Futures scored another three-point win. Visiting Beerschot, the young purple and white won 1-2. Anouar Ait El Hadj and Lucas Stassin (pictured) scored. Anderlecht become co-leaders for the time being.
Anderlecht played for the first time with Guillaume Gillet on the bench as T1. He could dispose of Duranville and Stassin, among others. He then had to leave Leoni to the first team. At Beerschot, Hervé Matthys and Mardochee Nzita, two youth products of Anderlecht, started the game.
Beerschot dominated the first half, but Anderlecht was able to take advantage of a mistake by Matthys to take the lead. The defender lost the ball to Ishaq. That served Ait El Hadj, who in turn finished beautifully. Beerschot had chances through Verlinden, Thorisson and Rigo, but did not score.
Twenty minutes before time, Stassin doubled the lead with his eighth of the season. He thus becomes co-top marksman with Rocha of Lierse. In the final minute Sanusi eased to 1-2, but Beerschot came no further.
