Van Stee: "I was a candidate at Anderlecht"

INTERVIEWS Speaking to regional Dutch broadcast Rijnmond Sport, Henk van Stee says he was one of the candidates to become technical director at Anderlecht. "But I agreed with my family that I will stay in the Netherlands," he says.


The 60-year-old Van Stee was most recently at Sparta Rotterdam. He worked there from March 2018 to December 2021, but left due to a disagreement with the management. Before that, he spent seven years at Zenit St. Petersburg. First five years as head of youth training and then two years as technical director. 

Before that, he worked for Feyenoord and Shaktar Donetsk, among others.
