Year after leaving Anderlecht, Kireev has new club

TRANSFERS SK Lierse have proposed Maxim Kireev as their first incoming transfer for next season. The 18-year-old Kireev parted ways with Anderlecht last summer. He did not immediately find a new club, but managed to convince Lierse in recent months.


Kireev played for Anderlecht between 2013 and 2022, but a contract was not in the cards. After six months without a club he landed at Lierse in January. There he trained with the U23 and made a good impression.

Lierse have now signed Kireev on a contract for two seasons. The attacking midfielder will join the A nucleus next season.
