Angulo helps Ecuador get win with assist

YOUTH At the World Cup U20, Ecuador won 2-1 against Slovakia last night. Nilson Angulo provided the assist for the winning second goal, although most of the credit for this goal goes to goal scorer José Klinger, who struck with a lovely long-distance shot.


Ecuador is second with Slovakia in Group B. Both countries have three points. The United States leads with six out of six. Friday night Ecuador plays against Fiji, last with zero points. The first two in the group and the top four numbers three advance to the eighth finals.
