Official: Vergeylen extended until 2026

YOUTH Anderlecht have announced the contract extension of Lilian Vergeylen. The 17-year-old midfielder will sign until 2026. In May last year, he already signed his first professional contract until 2025. So now he is adding another year to that.


Vergeylen transferred from OH Leuven to Anderlecht in 2020. He can play at the six, eight and 10. "Lilian has a good kick and excellent vista," Anderlecht also said. Vergeylen is a regular with Belgium's U17 and before that with the national U16.
