OTHER Anderlecht presented the social project 'Tous Mauves'. Together with Telenet, the club aims to offer some 5,000 socially vulnerable young people, mainly between the ages of 8 and 18, from inside and outside Brussels, opportunities to discover and develop their talents every year. "In this way, we want to accelerate and strengthen social inclusion," it sounds.

Telenet has been the shirt sponsor of the RSCA Woman for years and will have a financial stake in the project. A host of social welfare organizations also stepped on board. The project will run for at least three seasons.

Tous Mauves focuses on five social pillars:

Gender inclusion: getting more girls to play soccer
Digital inclusion: reducing the digital divide
Sporting inclusion: facilitating soccer and sport for all
Professional inclusion: accelerate the integration of young people into the labor market
Educational inclusion: access to complementary education and development of competencies

"For each challenge, Anderlecht works with the strongest social organizations in their discipline," the club announced. "With those social partners, an ambitious annual program is worked out each time to achieve the common objectives. With a multitude of initiatives in store this season: collecting and donating laptops, inspiring lectures at weekend schools, coaching sessions, homework assistance, company visits, offering internships, facilitating sports practice, and much more."

Bornauw: "Getting young people to develop talents and provide opportunities is close to our hearts"

"The large social footprint of our club is a privilege that also brings with it responsibilities," said CEO Non Sports Kenneth Bornauw in introducing the project. "As a sports club and soccer company, we not only want to do business responsibly, but also help leverage our operation for social impact."

"This is why we are proud to have been able to work with Telenet - and a number of partners with proven expertise - to shape the 'Tous Mauve' program, to boost the inclusion of disadvantaged youth in Brussels. Enabling young people to discover their talents and provide opportunities is very close to our hearts as a club."
