YOUTH The RSCA Football Academy, home to youth teams from U6 to U13, is in a whole new outfit. More than one million euros the club invested to renovate the youth academy. Money that came thanks to city rival Union.

An artificial turf field worn to the bone, a soggy lawn and dressing rooms and a canteen where the paint was peeling off the walls: Anderlecht's youth academy didn't look like much anymore. That's no way to convince players and their parents to choose Anderlecht.

So this summer, Anderlecht invested over one million euros. The artificial turf pitch is back in order, the grass pitch got drainage and the indoor hall with artificial turf was also completely renovated. The dressing rooms and canteen also look as you would expect from a club like Anderlecht. There is even a street soccer field for technical tricks.

The youth center can and will be used by other teams. For example, the A-team can sometimes train in the indoor hall and the RSCA Women play their home games on the new artificial turf field.

For financing the renovation, Anderlecht can also thank city rival Union. They rent the Lotto Park for their European games. Their income helped Anderlecht get the necessary funds to make all this possible.
