TRANSFERS For La Dernière Heure, it is a foregone conclusion: Alexis Flips will leave Anderlecht in January. After Reims, Lyon and especially Mallorca are now said to be interested in the creative midfielder.


Anderlecht wants to let some midfielders go and Flips is one of the guys who may leave. Purple-white paid 3.5 to 4 million for the Frenchman just this summer. It would like to recover that amount, but realizes that will not be an obvious one. Mallorca would like to acquire Flips permanently, but that will be expensive for the Spaniards. A loan deal with purchase option is a possible alternative.

Furthermore, Lyon's new sporting director would also have Flips on his list. The (former) French superpower is currently fighting relegation and wants to strengthen itself in January. No talks have yet taken place between Lyon and Flips, according to La Dernière Heure.
