Riemer: "Game replay affects integrity of soccer"

INTERVIEWS There is still no definite conclusion about RSC Anderlecht's match against Genk. The Referee Department ruled that the match should not be replayed, the Limburger immediately let it be known that they will appeal. Brian Riemer thinks so.

"I have been active in the Premier League for 31 years, I have never known a game to be replayed there. Is this where we want to go with our soccer, that they are decided in court. That way you also affect the integrity of soccer," Riemer said.

Top to today, it is also still not clear what steps Genk will take.
