Official: Joakim Lavia signs three year contract

YOUTH Joakim Lavia, Roméo's 15-year-old brother, has tied his fate to Anderlecht until 2027. Anderlecht announced that news today. Joakim is an attacking midfielder who has been playing for Anderlecht since he was 7 years old.


‘Joakim immediately stands out as an attacking midfielder. His versatility, technique and mentality received great appreciation from the various coaches he has worked with. This season he is playing with the U16 under the guidance of Yannick Kindermans,' Anderlecht writes on its website.

‘Joakim is very versatile and can play in several positions on the pitch,' adds Mikkel Hemmersam, director of youth training. ‘He combines speed with good technique. He is also a decisive player who can score and set up the attack. Joakim has had some difficult periods with injuries, but he has shown a lot of character to come back. ‘We are very happy that he has committed his future to RSCA.'
