‘Vertonghen will only be back after international break’

INJURIES Brian Riemer also gave an update on the injuries to Jan Vertonghen and Francis Amuzu after the game against Dinamo Minks. The latter has almost recovered, with Vertonghen things are more difficult.


‘I don't know if we will recover Jan next week for the return game, or the following Sunday against Union,' Riemer said. ‘To do well, we would have to wait until the end of the international break (Sunday 15 September, ed.), but we miss him.'

‘With Francis things are much better. Whether he can play against Minsk on Thursday is still a question mark. The game against Union Sunday is much less so.'
