Fredberg inquires about Mvumpa

TRANSFERS Today the transfer market closes in several major leagues. Anderlecht is hoping to take advantage of that. According to Sky Sports, Purple White are interested in Silas Katompa-Mvumpa, a Congolese winger from Stuttgart.


The speedy Silas Katompa-Mvumpa came over from Lens and has played 91 times for Stuttgart so far. As Mvumpa cannot count on many playing minutes this season, the international is open to a move. Hoffenheim is also mentioned as a possible destination, but will have to act quickly.

Mvumpa is still under contract until 2026. Because of his high price tag (around €10 million), Anderlecht will probably try to secure a loan.
