INTERVIEWS David Hubert, RSC Anderlecht's interim coach, is satisfied with the victory against Ferencvaros. He was confident beforehand and had drawn up a good plan. That plan was also executed excellently by the players. The team was aggressive and attacking, but missed chances in the beginning. At half-time, Hubert talked to his players about the dangers of folding back too far and about efficiency. His advice proved effective, as the score was opened shortly after half-time.
Furthermore, Hubert did regret Angulo's red card, but at the same time he praised his team's effort with ten players.
Hubert did remain level-headed after the win and stressed that there is still a lot of room for improvement. He also hopes Amuzu's injury is not too bad. The focus now is on further improving the game. All in all, Hubert felt the victory was a step forward for Anderlecht: ‘Yet there is still work to be done to become stronger in the coming games,' he echoed.
