Inquiries were made from Cameroon to Killian Sardella's entourage about his interest in playing for that country's national team. Sardalla's mother is from Cameroon. The right-back, who has always played for Belgium's youth teams.
“For my mom, it would be a dream,” Sardella said of a possible choice for Cameroon. “Her family still lives there.” The right-back indicates that Cameroon is often present at World Cups and Africa Cups, but that it was always his dream to play for the Red Devils. “I grew up here and played for every age group. At the U21, I was even captain the last match.”
Sardella knows there is competition at the right-back position with the Red Devils. “But I have confidence in my abilities.”
