Anderlecht has made an excellent start to the Europa League and can aim for direct qualification. So a trip to Riga should not be a problem for purple and white. However, during the press conference, the coach, David Hubert, tempered the euphoria and urged realism: “we are only three match days away,” he stressed.
Anderlecht must be alert for RFS, the team from Riga, which held Galatasaray to a draw, Hubert believes.
The team is relatively unknown but has qualities. RFS was also recently crowned Latvian national champions. “However, they will start the match focused, although I hope they will be tired after the title celebration.”
In any case, Anderlecht will have to do without Augustinsson and Dendoncker due to injuries.
