TRANSFERS Het Nieuwsblad had a long interview with man-in-form Kasper Dolberg. It is mainly about his life besides football, but the sporting and his future are also briefly discussed. “Looking back on my time with Anderlecht ten years from now and finding that we didn't win a prize? That would be disappointing.”
Let it be clear: Dolberg feels great at Anderlecht and in Ixelles, where he lives with his family. Brian Riemer recently hinted at a possible January departure, but that is not Dolberg's immediate ambition. “A winter transfer is not ideal,” he knows. “I'm not going to just throw away my current luck.”
Dolberg explains that he prefers to be happy at Anderlecht than to risk going to a club where he feels less comfortable. He also says he wants to win a prize with Anderlecht. “Because soccer is about winning prizes.” Nor does he have a career plan. “This business is so unpredictable,” said the Danish striker.
