Dolberg also bears consequences of harsh Beerschot approach

INJURIES Mario Stroeykens underwent a scan of the ankle yesterday. The verdict has not yet been communicated but it probably involves a sprain. That means Stroeykens will not be in action at Slavia. Sardella and Edozie are also still injured on the ankle. Kasper Dolberg is also now struggling with some discomfort, but will travel with the team.


Dolberg's problems can be boiled down to the harshness of the Beerschot defenders and the lax management of referee Lambrechts, who kept letting up.

Consequently, coach David Hubert must decide whether to let Dolberg start or place Luis Vazquez in the striker position. Amuzu may also not be fit enough for three games a week. In other words, the lineup will be a puzzle.
