Stroeykens out for up to eight weeks

INJURIES According to Kjell Doms of Het Laatste Nieuws, Mario Stroeykens is out of action for six to eight weeks. The young midfielder tore his ligament in the right ankle during Sunday's game against Beerschot.


Stroeykens is yet another player on the injured list. He is expected to be able to play again around late January, early February. Stroeykens himself hopes to recover from the injury sooner. 

Verschaeren will presumably get a chance to show himself during Stroeykens' absence
