Anderlecht will not sit still during transfer window

TRANSFERS According to transfer specialist Sasha Tavolieri, Anderlecht is planning to get a number of reinforcements this winter. For Olivier Renard, it will be his first transfer window and four profiles are said to be on the table.

Biggest priority is presumably an additional central defender. Jan Vertonghen is still out and the question is also whether he will stay fit this season. Zanka did not always leave the best impression and so the slack becomes very thin at center back. Anyway also towards next season because Vertonghen stops playing soccer and Zanka signed a one-year contract.

Anderlecht would also be looking for a new second goalkeeper, presumably because Kikkenborg wants to leave. They are also looking for a versatile flanker and a box-to-box midfielder. Those two profiles are presumably more likely in preparation for next season already. Ashimeru is again more injured than fit and Edozie will normally return to England, which is also possibly true of Dendoncker.

Finally, there is also the case of Diawara who may leave the club for some time.
