Chelsea player also linked to Anderlecht

TRANSFERS The name-dropping has begun. The next player to be linked to Anderlecht listens to the name of Harvey Vale. English sports journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Anderlecht is one of three clubs showing interest in this Chelsea player.


The 21-year-old Vale is an attacking midfielder. This season he is playing for Chelsea's second team. In seven games, he scored three goals and provided two assists. The former England U20 international did make two appearances for the first team in the Conference League. Last year he was loaned (successfully) to Bristol Rovers in the English third division.

Besides Anderlecht, Heerenveen and Sunderland are also said to be interested. Vale's market value is estimated at 1.5 million euros. His contract at Chelsea expires at the end of this season.
