Sunweb takes Napoleon's place on shirt

OTHER As of January 1, 2025, Sunweb became the new sponsor of RSC Anderlecht. This is a partnership that is set for three seasons. Napoleon has moved to the back of the shirt because of legislation around gambling advertising. The new shirts are available through the club's official fanshop.


In more than 40 years, only a handful of companies have featured on Anderlecht's shirts, highlighting the value and stability of these partnerships.

Tim Van den Bergh of Sunweb expressed pride in the partnership, “We are very proud to commit to RSC Anderlecht, a club with a prestigious history and passionate supporters. At Sunweb, we believe in creating unforgettable moments for our customers, something Anderlecht offers to its fans every week.”

For Sunweb, this also marks a renewed investment in sports marketing, following previous successes with a cycling team. Tim van den Bergh concludes by noting that Sunweb is committed to a strong and stable relationship with the club.
