Anderlecht shows interest in Touba

TRANSFERS Anderlecht urgently needs to look for short- and long-term central defenders. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Ahmed Touba of KV Mechelen is also on the radar, but attracting the Algerian will not be so easy.


Touba (26) has been a star performer at Mechelen this season and can play on the left or central defense. The Algerian is rented from Basaksehir, but Mechelen forced an 800,000 euro purchase option from the Turks. The dossier of the Club Brugge youth product thus looks quite complicated, since Mechelen obviously does not want to let the player leave just like that.
