Transfer rumor: interest in Targett?.

TRANSFERS According to Talksport, Matt Targett is now also said to be on Anderlecht's list. Targett is not getting on at Newcastle and wants to re-launch his career. According to the same source, Frankfurt would also show interest. For now, it doesn't seem to be more than a rumor. With a weekly wage of £70,000, Targett is simply too expensive unless Newcastle agree to a rental deal as well as continue to pay the bulk of the wages.


On top of that, 29-year-old Targett prefers to come out at left back rather than as a central defender. 

His market value has also dropped sharply over the past three years: from 17 million euros to around 8 million euros.
