Betis: offer for Mendy too low

TRANSFERS Anderlecht is said to have made a first offer to Real Betis for the rental with option to buy Senegalese defender Nobel Mendy. However, this offer does not meet the demands of the Sevilla club, which paid nearly a million euros to Paris FC for the 20-year-old player last summer. The current offer from purple and white is considered too low by Betis, both in terms of initial transfer fee and conditions for additional transfer revenue. However, upon fulfilling all the conditions, Betis could earn up to 4 million euros.


Mendy, who recently returned from injury, is the fourth central defender in Betis' selection. A possible departure would force the club to look for a replacement, thus significantly improving Anderlecht's bid.
