Amuzu back home after being hospitalized with concussion

INJURIES Francis Amuzu has been discharged from the hospital, according to a statement from Anderlecht. The club confirmed that he will continue his recovery at home following the heavy concussion he sustained during yesterday's match. "Our medical staff will closely monitor his recovery," the statement added. Amuzu suffered the injury in stoppage time of the first half during a collision with Joel Ordonez's elbow while playing against Bruges.

He received on-field treatment for approximately 20 minutes before being transported to the hospital for further evaluation. He remained unconscious for about half an hour.

The duration of his absence is hard to estimate. The sub acute recovery phase might even take months.
