Futures pick up point against La Louvière

1B - GAMES The RSCA Futures drew 2-2 against La Louvière, the number two seed in the standings. Milan Robberechts (pictured) quickly put purple and white ahead. Shortly after the break, Robbie Ure scored the second Anderlecht goal.


The Futures started the game without Lapage, Maamar and Goto. That trio will travel with the A-team to Kortrijk tomorrow. Engwanda and Tajaouart did start, as did newcomer Kanaté. Notable appearance on the bench: Amadou Diawara.

After 30 seconds the game was stopped because of flares. Football resumed for 15 minutes and Robberechts quickly made it 0-1. Through Guindo, a youth product of Anderlecht, La Louvière quickly equalized and shortly before halftime Liongola made it 2-1 with a nice shot. Ure scored the equalizer after the break, on a pass from Robberechts.

The Futures now have 13 points. That's two more than Jong Genk, which is in the relegation spot. However, the Futures have played one less match. Next week the Anderlecht youngsters host Patro Eisden, number 4 in the standings, in Deinze.
