INTERVIEWS According to Theo Leoni, the early deficit dealt his team a blow. The Anderlecht players took too much gas and were put under too much pressure. They should have fought hard to get back into the game, but they didn't.
He noted that a return to form is possible, especially since they are still active in three areas.
David Hubert gave his honest opinion after the game in the locker room, but Leoni stresses that there was no need, because RSCA's players were well aware that they had missed their match.
They still have their fate in their own hands,” he assures, ”a win against Hoffenheim and the job is done. It doesn't really matter how we get there,” he says, ”we just need to have more gusto on the pitch.
He concludes by saying that this weekend against Mechelen they must above all revenge and not let that defeat lurk in the back of their minds.
