Foket not in selection for sporting reasons

OTHER No Thomas Foket yesterday on the match sheet against KV Mechelen. There was speculation about a possible injury, but that is not the reason. Het Nieuwsblad knows that the right back was out for sporting reasons.


The arrival of Lucas Hey and Adryelson and the good performances of Ali Maamar make the places at the back extra expensive. Foket was given another starting place against Plzen, but played a dramatic game. 

The 31-year-old will have to perform strongly to find his way back into coach David Hubert's good graces.
