GAMES David Hubert noted a lot of inconsistency in RSC Anderlecht's play after Moussa N'Diaye was sent off the field, adding that his player should not have reacted that way. He also believes his players fought hard throughout the match to come back from a deficit.
“The counter goal was predictable because of the play the team showed on the field, there were too many individual mistakes,” Hubert said.
The coach also had a yellow card shoved under his nose at the end of the match after he addressed the referee about N'Diaye's red card. He particularly regretted that Verboomen did not penalize Gent's many fouls during the match in the same way he penalized Moussa N'Diaye: “There was a lack of consistency on the part of the referee and that caused frustration in the ranks of purple and white.”
