Vertonghen: “Injury is going in the right direction”

INJURIES Jan Vertonghen attends tonight's Golden Boot Gala. Upon his arrival, the Anderlecht defender was asked a few questions about how his injury is going. “It's going well,” he said. “I hope between now and a few days or weeks to be able to do some things with the group again.”


“It's going in the right direction. When can I make my comeback? I had a goal, but I'm just going to express that because I've been disappointed a few times that way. It's going well now. If I can keep this up, I'll be very happy. My goal is not to get injured again. Then I'll already be very satisfied.”
