Verschaeren: “I think I drank something bad”

OTHER Yari Verschaern asked for his change even, not because he was injured, but because he felt very sick. He himself thinks he drank something bad that made him very sick on the field. 
 


“I feel good because we won and placed for the final but also very bad because I am as sick as a dog,” Verschaeren explained after the game.

There was a brief fuss prior to Verschaeren's goal because it appeared he controlled the ball with his arm. “Very sincerely: I didn't feel that I hit it with the arm. I haven't seen the footage myself yet but that goal was rightly approved in my opinion. An important goal too because we didn't have it easy with Janssen's position.”
