OTHER Club Brugge and Anderlecht risk sanctions from the Gambling Commission (KSC) because their shirts display gambling advertising that is too large, which has been prohibited since Jan. 1, 2025. According to the rules, a gambling sponsor may only appear on the back of the shirt and may not be larger than 75 cm². Club Brugge and Anderlecht appear to be violating those rules.

The KSC stresses that the entire area of the brand name or logo is counted in the assessment, not just the individual letters. Sanctions can be imposed for non-compliance, the KSC emphasizes. Violations can also result in an official report, which is forwarded to the public prosecutor's office. Even if there is no prosecution, the KSC can impose fines of up to 144,000 euros.
