Will Dolberg and Verschaeren get fit for clash with Club Brugge?

INJURIES It remains highly uncertain whether Anderlecht will be able to have Kasper Dolberg (photo) and Yari Verschaeren in Sunday's first playoff match against Club Brugge. According to Het Nieuwsblad, Verschaeren will not make it to the match, while it is uncertain for Dolberg. The reports in Het Laatste Nieuws are a bit more positive.


Het Nieuwsblad writes tonight that Verschaeren is still rehabilitating from his groin injury. Dolberg, for his part, is already on the practice field, according to the newspaper, but is still partly training separately. “The chances of Verschaeren making it to the topper are not that great either,” Het Nieuwsblad said. “For Dolberg, it remains to be seen whether he can still be prepared.”

Het Laatste Nieuws also brings an update on both players tonight. “Both are already partially training with the group, but their employability on Sunday remains uncertain,” we read there. The newspaper also states that Dolberg has already partially resumed training, but also reports that the striker is not yet fully fit. “The answer as to whether the two can play will follow on Saturday. After the final training session,” Het Laatste Nieuws said.
