Sardella may return this season

INJURIES Killian Sardella's rehabilitation is progressing well. The Anderlecht right back, who suffered a muscle injury, had previously been told he would be sidelined for about eight weeks. This seemed to virtually end his season. However, there is now a glimmer of hope that Sardella may be able to return sooner and play another game.


Although the Belgian Cup final, scheduled for May 4, is not currently considered an achievable goal, it does seem that the defender could return sooner. Possibly, he could still feature in the final game(s) of the playoffs.

However, the RSCA medical team is determined not to take any unnecessary risks in the defender's recovery process.
