Anderlecht already spoke with Bertaccini

TRANSFERS Anderlecht is showing interest in Adriano Bertaccini. Het Laatste Nieuws knows that sporting director Olivier Renard already spoke with the 24-year-old Belgian's entourage. With 21 goals, Bertaccini is currently top scorer in the top division.


Bertaccini is a youth product of Charlerloi, Standard, Club Brugge and Racing Genk. After an unsuccessful passage at Lustenau in Austria, he began scoring in 2021. First 11 and 26 goals for Thes Sport in the highest amateur league. Last season he hit 11 goals in half a year with FC Liege in 1B.

Those Liege goals earned him a winter transfer to STVV. In his first six months he was mostly a substitute, but still scored four goals in 485 playing minutes in 1A. This season he was in the starting lineup from the beginning and has already scored 21 times.

Bertaccini is hoping for a move up this summer. In the winter he was linked to AA Gent and now Lens is showing interest. There is also interest from the English second division. STVV is aiming for 4 to 5 million euros as a transfer fee. The striker is still under contract until 2027.
