Contract status Rits, Stroeykens and Leoni

TRANSFERS Mats Rits still has a one-season contract but has not yet received a new proposal. So there is a chance that Rits will leave Lotto Park this summer in favor of De Cat and Hatenboer. Mario Stroeykens and Theo Leoni were offered a new contract, but have not yet accepted.


Stroeykens' entourage is currently investigating Anderlecht's proposal and has not yet reported back. Chances are that they are waiting to see what happens and are hoping for a lucrative transfer. Anderlecht would like to keep Stroeykens, but will not immediately refuse a good offer either.

Theo Leoni also remains quiet. The midfielder received a new proposal some time ago, but will probably not sign it. Leoni appeared less and less in the plans of the various trainers this season and seems to be waiting for the appointment of a new trainer before deciding.
