De Cat with Belgium to U17 European Championship semifinals

YOUTH Nathan de Cat has qualified for the semifinals of the European Championship with Belgium's U17 team. The young Devils did lose to defending champion Italy 1-2, after leading 1-0 themselves, but the Czech Republic lent a hand. It came back from 0-4 in the last minute to 2-4 against England, allowing Belgium to finish with equal points but a better goal difference than the English.


Belgium, with De Cat playing the entire match, thus continues as runners-up and meets France in the semifinals.
