Renard: "We prefer young players with a lot of potential"

INTERVIEWS Olivier Renard is satisfied with the Europa League draw. Especially since RSC Anderlecht did not draw any big names, which is the most important thing for him. Renard is aware, however, that the team must be ready for this confrontation which does fall early in the preparation.

He easily convinced the Argentine to join the staff, as the former Purple-White midfielder had a strong desire to return to the club. The arrival of Silvio Proto and Jérémy Taravel will also provide leadership, Renard said.

He confirmed that RSC Anderlecht's mercato is far from over. There are many rumors circulating, but most of them are created by player agents who make a game of it. The club's finances limit Olivier Renard's choices. He therefore prefers to attract young players with great potential at the expense of established players.
