Anderlecht makes bid for Alaves defender Diarra

TRANSFERS In its search for a left-footed central defender, Anderlecht found Alaves' Moussa Diarra's. So reports SER Vitoria. Diarra, however, is said to have rejected Anderlecht's offer. He would like to stay, although Alaves is still considering a transfer.


Anderlecht reportedly approached Diarra back in January and returned a few days ago with an offer of 2.7 million euros. 

The 24-year-old Diarra came from Toulouse to Alaves a year ago transfer free and played 26 duels in Spain's top division last season, almost every time as a base pawn. Diarra is also a four-time Malian international and is still under contract until 2028. Transfermarkt estimated his market value at 1.8 million euros early this month.
