Transfer rumor from Turkey: interest in Cuesta?

TRANSFERS Another wild transfer rumor reached us from Turkey: RSC Anderlecht are said to be showing interest in 26-year-old Colombian defender Carlos Cuesta. The central defender, who previously played for KRC Genk, is currently active with Galatasaray. Anderlecht would be willing to offer five million euros for the player.


However, Galatasaray has indicated it only wants to sell if it gets back the eight million euros it paid for Cuesta. That likely makes a potential transfer impossible. Anderlecht does not intend to spend large sums of money on one player. On top of that, it is not uncommon for the Turkish media to launch some sensational transfer rumors before.
