Manchester United winger linked to Anderlecht

TRANSFERS English journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Anderlecht, like Club Brugge, would be interested in Ethan Williams. The 19-year-old Williams is a winger who is under contract with Manchester United. 


For the first half of last season, Williams played for Manchester United's U19. In the Youth League, he scored three goals in four games. He also gave an assist.

Since mid-January, he was loaned to Cheltenham, which plays at the third level in England. There he played 17 duels, in which he scored twice and gave two assists.

The arrival of Mateus Cunha and the impending transfer of Bryan Mbuemo mean that Williams does not have an immediate future at United. According to Jacobs, several clubs are showing interest in the player whose contract expires in a year.
