INTERVIEWS In a recent episode of the Koolcast Sport, Romelu Lukaku highlighted his strong bond with RSC Anderlecht. The footballer expressed his gratitude for the support he received following the death of his grandfather, a profound event in his youth. Lukaku stated, "Anderlecht saved my life," stressing that their help went beyond football. Lukaku, who joined Anderlecht at the age of 14, lost his grandmother before and describes his grandfather as his "hero."


He expressed regret that he was unable to bring his grandfather to Belgium for medical care.

The striker emphasized his loyalty to Anderlecht and the influential figures such as Herman Van Holsbeeck and Jean Kindermans, who have supported him in his career.

In the future, he hopes to give something back to the club by helping young talents develop, with the ambition of guiding a new generation of players. "I know what it is to fight for a chance. If one day I can help 20 or 25 youngsters break through at Anderlecht, I will be happy," Lukaku said.
