Sylla extends contract until 2028

TRANSFERS 16-year-old Gassimou Sylla has extended his contract with Anderlecht until 2028. Last summer, the striker signed his first professional contract. At the Futures, he made a positive impression last season.


Sylla, who celebrates his 17th birthday on Aug. 10, scored four goals last season and provided two assists in 17 games.

"I am immensely proud to sign here. It feels like a reward for all the hard work I've put in this year. I hope I can continue on this path," Sylla told rsca.be.

Sylla has been playing for Anderlecht since 2017. He first played for a year at the Heysel, then joined Neerpede.
