Swedish reinforcement for RSCA Women

DAMES 25-year-old Swedish striker Klara Folkesson has signed a one-year contract with the RSCA Women. She comes over from Hammarby IF, where she and the team finished third in the Swedish championship last season. Folkesson previously played for Apollon Limassol in Cyprus and Uppsala, where she scored 10 goals in 2023 despite her club's relegation. Her powerful style of play is her trademark though she has been held back by injuries in the past, including a torn cruciate ligament.


RSCA Women hopes this transfer will give a new impulse Folkesson's career. "We are convinced that with us she can re-launch her career," said Dave Mattheus.
