INTERVIEWS After RSC Anderlecht's draw against Antwerp, coach Besnik Hasi was disappointed. Although the Brussels team had a few chances through Luis Vázquez and César Huerta, he regretted that his team failed to capitalize on them.

According to Hasi, the problem was not only in the finishing, but also in the mentality of his team. “We created chances, but we lacked sharpness and a real urge to score. That's a shame, because we had the game under control,” he said. The coach pointed in particular to a lack of conviction at the decisive moments.

Concerns about Hazard
Another point of concern for Hasi was the injury to Thorgan Hazard, who had to leave the field during the match. “I hope it's not too serious,” he said with visible concern. Hazard is considered one of the key players this season, so his possible absence would be a serious blow.

Hasi also spoke about the situation of Mario Stroeykens, one of the young talents from the Anderlecht academy. The midfielder's future remains uncertain. “I would like him to continue his development here. It is important that a solution is found quickly,” emphasized the coach.

Verschaeren must fight
Finally, Hasi returned to the situation of Yari Verschaeren, who has seen less playing time in recent weeks. According to the coach, this is not due to a lack of confidence, but to the fierce competition for his position. “We have several options in that area. Yari will have to keep fighting for his place,” said Hasi.

A point that offers little satisfaction
For Anderlecht, the draw feels like a missed opportunity. The Mauves were well organized and enjoyed possession, but left the supporters craving more attacking power. It remains to be seen whether the team will find the back of the net again in the next match—and whether the concerns surrounding Hazard will prove to be unfounded.
