1B - GAMES RSCA Futures opened their new campaign with a spectacular draw away at K Lyra-Lierse. In a match designed as an extensive test of the squad, Jelle Coen opted to field a different starting eleven in each half. The purple and white side quickly took control thanks to a dynamic and inspired first half. Driven by a strong Enzo Sternal, who scored twice, the RSCA Futures made the difference.
A free-kick goal from Flips added to that, sending Anderlecht into the break with a 1-3 lead. After the interval, the game took a turn. With a completely reshuffled side, the purple and white team came under pressure. A few defensive gifts allowed the home side to gradually work their way back into the match and eventually salvage a 3-3 draw.
